Full Professor at the Department of Management and Technology of Bocconi University, where he also holds the positions of Dean of the Graduate School and Deputy Rector. Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University.

PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University. PhD in Entrepreneurship and management at Jönköping International Business School, Sweden. Visiting scholar at Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, from 2001 to 2003.

Director of the two-year MSc from 2005 to 2010, and of the three-year CLEAM from 2013 to 2019. Vice-Chair of the Family Firm Institute from 2017 to 2021.
