In this presentation, Prof. Gomez-Mejia will provide an extensive overview of the concept of Socioemotional Wealth (SEW), originally developed in the context of family firms and currently applied to a variety of decision-making issues, including HR management.
Following Prof. Gomez-Mejia's presentation, Prof. Carlo Salvato, Prof. Carmelo Cennamo and Prof. Alessandro Minichilli (Department of Management and Technology) will offer their view on the value of SEW as a potential new paradigm for family firms and, more generally, for strategic decision-making.
